I'm a designer, creative and writer based in the South East, with a First Class Honours in Graphic
Design. I work across branding, editorial and layout, with a strong grounding in research, design
and problem-solving. 
I've always been interested in art. Some of my earliest memories involve a set of paints or pencils, just making stuff. I liked expressing my thoughts creatively and making something to keep. Up until my early teens, I'd normally be sat drawing most evenings. I stayed curious about fine art for a while, but it wasn't the best use of my skills, and the enjoyment started to fade. I found other ways to express myself; writing, photography, and having a voice. Rather than drawing my ideas, I started discussing them with friends and family. I read more, and grew more interested in film, TV, politics and history, all of which started shaping how I thought creatively.
When I started studying Graphic Design and Media Studies at Sixth Form, I noticed that those interests found their way back into my work. My design work became grounded in research and meaning, while still representing who I am. I love the challenge of answering a brief, in all its parts, and solving a creative problem. University developed this further, answering industry standard briefs and learning from talented designers and lecturers. By the time I graduated I had a much clearer idea of who I am as a creative, and how I see myself in the industry.
I want to create work that's driven by research and practicality, letting that research support my design skills in creating outcomes that are successful, appropriate and meaningful. I'm interested across all forms of design; branding, layout and typography, editorial work, print and physical craft. Beyond that, I'm looking to gain experience in a creative environment, working on projects that let me explore all elements of the industry. I want to continue developing as a designer, taking on the kind of work that challenges me and keeps me curious.
